These beautiful blankets are woven in a classic plaid design that highlights the natural sheep shades of Shetland wool. Called "rugs" by Shetlanders, the blankets are produced for Jamieson & Smith by Skye Weavers and are woven by pedal in their studio on the Isle of Skye.  They are perfect for over a bed, on the back of a couch or for cozying up with knitting or a book.
